Put your wardrobe
and boxes in order
every time the season changes.
Photograph your clothes, put them away in boxes, find them again when you need them. The app that keeps your closet in order, so the seasonal swap feels a little less like a treasure hunt.

What is Seasonal Closet Organizer?
Seasonal Closet Organizer is an iPhone and iPad app, made by Andrea Di Mambro, that helps you manage your wardrobe and do the seasonal clothes switch: you photograph your clothes, assign them to boxes with a QR label, and find them again with a search.
Managing your wardrobe with Seasonal Closet Organizer, in four steps
Photograph your clothes
While you fold and put them away, take one shot per item: it only takes a few seconds. Name, size (by age too, for children), color and season can be added whenever you like, at your own pace, maybe tomorrow.
Put them in a box
Create the boxes you really have (attic, basement, bedroom wardrobe) and choose where each item goes. That way you can store off-season clothes without losing them: the app does the remembering.
Print the label
Every box has its own QR code. Print it (one label per box, or several on the same sheet), stick it on and, when you scan it with the app, you see what's inside. Without opening the box and without wrestling with the tape.
Search and find
Type “blue jacket”, or search by color or by box: the app tells you which box it's in and where that box is. No more lids opened one after another, hunting for a jacket that can't be found.
Store off-season clothes: every box has its own QR.
Create the boxes you really have and give each one a place: the attic, the basement, the bedroom wardrobe. Then fill them with photos of your clothes, one at a time, as you put them away.
Print the labels, one per box or several on the same sheet, and stick them on. When you need something, scan the label with the app: you instantly see what's inside, without opening the box.
That box with “misc” written on the lid. You put a bit of everything in it, and now it's a mystery.
Guided seasonal swap: you always know what to put away and what to take out.
The app knows what season you're in and tells you how long until the next one. When the time comes, it walks you through it: you choose the clothes to put away, place them in boxes and print the labels.
It also shows you the clothes you haven't worn in a while, so you decide what to keep, what to donate and what to sell.
In mid-October you notice your sandals are still out and your scarves are still in the basement. The seasonal swap gets put off until the cold decides for you.
Hand-me-downs: from older kids to younger ones.
How many times have you put away an item for your younger child and, when you took it out, it no longer fit? It has happened to me many times.
When you put an item in a box, you note the size, by age too (for example 9–10 years). In the app you add your children, with name and age.
From then on, the app works out by itself when it's the right time to take that item out: it takes into account the season, the age and the build of each child, not just the age on paper. If you like, it also sends you a notification. So the older child's jacket reappears just when the younger one needs it, and you don't have to think about it.
iCloud backup: change phones and find your whole wardrobe again.
You've spent time photographing and cataloging your clothes, and that work deserves to stay safe. The backup is automatic and goes to your iCloud, not to a server of ours: one copy on the days you use the app, and recent copies stay available.
If you change phone, or your iPhone lets you down, choose the copy to restore and your clothes, photos and boxes are back. The rest is up to you: you can turn the backup off, or export an archive of your data and photos whenever you like and keep it wherever you prefer.
The new phone always arrives at the wrong moment, and rebuilding your clothes catalog from scratch is the last thing you want.

Your data stays at home.
Everything stays on your iPhone or iPad. No account to create, no server of ours, no ads. The automatic backup keeps a copy in your iCloud and you can turn it off whenever you like. The only thing that leaves your phone is the city you choose for the weather, and only if you turn that feature on.

How to do the seasonal wardrobe change, in four steps
How do you organize your wardrobe every time the season changes? With or without an app, a simple method saves you work in October and in April. Here are the four steps.
To do the seasonal wardrobe change, gather your clothes by type and by person, decide what to keep, donate or sell, wash and mend, then store everything in boxes labeled by type and season. It's usually done twice a year: in spring, between April and May, and in fall, between September and October.
Boxes or containers, one per type and season. Labels, handwritten or with the app's QR code. Bags for what you donate or sell. A free afternoon. Your phone, to photograph the clothes.
See what you really have
Empty the wardrobe and gather the clothes by type, season and person. What you can't see, you don't use.
Decide: keep, donate, sell
An item you haven't worn for a whole season is the first candidate: better to decide now than to find it still there next year.
Wash and mend before storing
A dirty item, or one with a loose button, stays that way until next time. Fixing it now takes only a few minutes.
Box and label: store off-season clothes
One box per type and season, with a clear label. With the app, one photo per item and a QR code to stick on is all it takes.
Everything you want to know
Do I need an account? +

Does it work without a connection? +
Yes. A connection is only needed for the weather alert, if you turn it on, and for the iCloud backup.
Where is my data? +
On your iPhone or iPad. We can't see it and we don't have a server. If you leave the backup on, a copy sits in your iCloud, under your control.
What happens if I change phones? +
With iCloud backup on, you get your catalog and photos back: on the new phone you choose the copy to restore. You can also export an archive and keep it wherever you prefer.
How much does the wardrobe organizer app cost? +

What if I've already bought it and change phones? +
Open the purchase screen and tap “Already bought it? Restore”: the purchase comes back with the same Apple ID, with no second payment.
How do I store off-season clothes with the app? +
Photograph each item, put it in a box and stick on the QR label: when you need it, search for the item and the app tells you which box it's in. It's designed for wardrobes, but it also works for other items that rotate with the seasons, such as Christmas decorations, sports gear and heavy blankets.
Which devices does it work on? +
On iPhone and iPad. Android coming soon.
Is there an app to manage my closet and clothes? +

How do I pass clothes from an older child to a younger one? +
Keep the older child's clothes in boxes sorted by size, noting the age, and take them out when the right season comes. Seasonal Closet Organizer works out when the time has come, based on the season, age and build of each child, and can alert you with a notification.
